Subject:Product for creating forms From:"Field, Kristin" <KField -at- LSAC -dot- org> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Mon, 1 Oct 2001 14:08:04 -0400
The company I work for produces a product that is both cd and web-based. It
contains forms that the end-user fills out and then sends to us or one of
our members. Some members receive the data supplied by the end-user in
electronic format. Some will only accept a hard copy via fax or standard
mail. All members require that the printed version look identical to the
forms they supply if the end-user contacts them directly. Since we have
approximately 190 members, we have approximately 190 different forms, since
no one is the same. In addition, we have several additional forms that
probabaly number another 100 or so. In the past we used Omniform to produce
the forms so they could be completed electronically and then transmitted or
printed. This year we ran into difficulties because the latest browser
versions that came out late summer no longer support the plug-in needed to
generate the forms. Is anyone using any kind of software to do anything
similar to this?
