Hmm, it sounds like your bookmark levels settings are wrongly configured
when you create the .ps file.
When you print to file from Frame (I assume), check the Acrobat Data box and
open the PDF set up button.
The left pane in the resulting window shows which paragraph styles will
become bookmarks. Styles all the to the left appear as first level
bookmarks, styles one click to the right are second level and so on. So, for
example, your Chapter Title might be all to the left, H1 one click to the
right, H2 two clicks to the right, and so on as far as you want to go.

Subject: PDF problem and question about what are appropriate topics for
th is list
HI,
I am certainly having problems today.
This one:
I am trying to create a PDF. No problem, right? Well, I keep getting
bookmarks for everything in my book (left pane) when I create the PDF. I
want it to set up like it usually does for me: left pane showing TOC, books
as chapter with + signs containing the styles I've chosen under bookmarks
and structures.
Can anyone guess quickly what I may not be seeing that I'm doing incorrectly
this time?
Thanks so much!
I wonder as well if my last post about setting the equivalent of Auto text
in Word on a reference page came through? I didn't see, but someone did
answer (perhaps my first email) and suggested I join a Frame list. Perhaps
someone could send me a quick guideline as to what topics are appropriate to
this list. Perhaps I should join an Adobe list for this question? If that is
so, do let me know, and I'll hunt one down.
