It's worked for me before: I went to an interview wearing an Austin 
Electronic Frontiers Foundation t-shirt because I knew the environment 
was very casual, and also that the CEO was a founder of EFF-Austin. 
The only problem was their offer was about half what I was worth at 
the time. heh.
