Subject:RE: Printing multiple HTML pages at once? From:Andrea Kelso <AKelso -at- accelio -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 4 Oct 2001 15:29:48 -0400
Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about printing multiple HTML
files at once.
I received several good suggestions, and as a couple of people indicated,
the purpose of the doc is an important consideration in deciding what the
best solution is.
The doc that raised the question is a high level doc that we expect new
users to browse through once or twice to get an idea of what they can do
with the product, and then probably never open again. We don't spend much
time on it. The rest of the docs for the product are WinHelp and PDF. I see
very little need for anyone to print out the document and it has been
included in the product for a few releases without the ability to print all
pages at once. But someone said "you should be able to print this out" to my
boss, and so I had to figure out the best way to do it.
A couple of people pointed out to me that because I have a Contents frame
that links to all of the pages I want to print, IE's "Print all linked
documents" feature would allow someone to print all of the pages quite
easily if they really wanted to. Because of the nature of the doc, this
probably fits the bill.
