I just looked at some of the new features of Paint Shop Pro 7.0 at Jasc's web
site, http://www.jasc.com. I was impressed with the great job they did with
this particular piece. (I haven't always been a fan of their online help, so
this was a pleasant surprise.)
Specifically, I liked that you can jump around in it very easily. There is are
macro categories on the left, and micro categories down below. Very easy to
navigate. And they had it modularized, so you waited a short time for each
piece, instead of having to wait 10 minutes for the whole thing to download.
Very streamlined. I think that the automatic cursor movements were a bit slow,
but it's better to err on the side of caution with things you can't let the
user specify. They did a good job of not getting bogged down in details, just
giving an overview of a piece of functionality.
