I think the general impression most people have of liberal arts majors is that they are people who could never decide what they wanted to do, except for work in the "real" world.
(I'm not saying it's true that they are, but I'm not arguing against it either.)

Others may disagree, but my feeling is that if someone has made it through a
Bachelor's in a Liberal Art or Science or even a few years of English
undergraduate education, you can pretty much assume you are dealing with an
analytical thinker already. Who else would chose the subject?
