Re: Deleting Built-in Word styles
Dear TechWR-L--
Here's the issue: I am creating a customized document template for corporate
use. I want to delete some of those pesky built-in headings such as Heading
5, Heading 6, and so forth. Is there any way to do this? Or can I somehow
just simply choose NOT to display the built-in styles I don't want?
Thanks for any advice you can provide.
Cara,
You can't delete the built-in headings. You can set it to not show those (unused) or only user-defined.
But that will go away as soon as a user changes the settings.
Aren't you glad that everyone uses the same software? Don't you just love the customizability of Word? Don't you wish that they would stop telling us how we have to work?
Scott
