You can start with the C-Net archives and look for their Lab reports comparing
software programs of the same type. You won't get exactly what you're looking
for, but you'll probably get some ideas. You can also look at what ZD-Net does,
and what some of the other computer magazines do. I haven't checked this facet
lately, but ComputerWorld's sister publications used to do things like this all
the time.
