The quick answer is that the atvantage to FM+SGML is that you have a DTD and you
have to submit SGML compliant to the DTD. Even if SGML is not a client
requirement, a good DTD/EDD can keep control of the output of numerous writers
in ways that are impossible with a simple FM template.
