Northeastern University in Boston MA has a great tech writing certificate
program with a curriculum that worked out extremely well for me and many
others. It is intense, concise, and a very "thoughtfully" put together
program. It also helped that we had what I consider top notch teachers.
There were several variations of the above required courses depending on
your
"writing track "preference. I also took a Web Graphics and Design course
using PhotoShop
and Dreamweaver after my certification. That additional choice proved
invaluable. In retrospect,
the only real difficulty I found was trying to decide the order of which
classes to take. I believe
that is also key in setting up a good curriculum. Just my two cents.
