Ann,
Our group includes both technical writers and training developers. We call
ourselves "User Education," following Microsoft's MSF conventions.

Subject: New department name for training and writing
Hi,
I apologize if this has been covered recently. I tried searching the
archives but had no luck finding answers.
I work for a software company that recently underwent reorganization
(again). We technical writers were added to the Training department; they
produce training materials and provide the training. The manager would like
a new name that will cover both areas. However, she does not want to use
"Training and Publications". Or vice versa :)
Is there anyone on the list in a similar situation, working in a department
that handles both online help/guides and training? Does anyone have
suggestions for our new department name?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Please reply directly to me rather than the list (I am currently subscribed
under digest mode).
