Julie,
I must have missed the original posting ... I have been teaching tech
writing at local colleges and universities since the early 80s, and all I
possess is a BA. I don't think a Master's degree is required to be an
adjunct professor. In many cases, they are looking for distinct "real world
experience" rather than academic qualifications, simply because their
students require that the teachers have actual experience doing instead of
just talking! My students love the war stories that come from real life ....

Hi, awhile back I asked about degree requirements for teaching part-time
college level in the U.S. -- and the outcome was that a Master's was
required.
Now my next question is -- does the Master's degree need to be from a U.S.
school? There's a distance degree offered by a UK school that looks
affordable for me. (Master's degree in Tech Comm) Anyone know if this
would fit the bill as well?
Thanks.
