Subject:RE: terminology for child window From:"Hannah Bissell" <to -dot- hannah -at- usa -dot- net> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 7 Dec 2001 09:44:06 -0500
I find most windows have a title bar, with title. If they don't, they are
usually a dialog box or a pop-up window, although many times these also have
titles. Avoid confusion and refer to them by their title. (i.e. say the
child window is titled File Properies...refer to it as the "File Properties
window")
