According to my copy of Lotus Notes 4.5 for Dummies. you can export (File > Export) documents to various formats including Microsoft Word, RTF, WordPerfect and others. The book doesn't say anything about batch processing a whole database of docs, so exporting might not be much more efficient than cutting and pasting. I haven't worked with Lotus Notes in over 2 years, and I don't recall enough to give you any specific hints. The Help for Notes might have some clues, if you're lucky.

I've been assigned to take approximately 600 docs of various lengths from a Lotus Notes database and post them on the web.

My initial thought is to cut and paste them into a word template, save as pdfs and link these up to web pages. Obviously, a lot of manual labor involved here.

Does someone have an alternative means they can recommend? I was wondering if there was some 3rd party software that does this, or if I might try constructing some macros in WORD and/or Lotus to automate. (I'm new to Lotus notes. We're using Lotus 4.6 and WORD '97).
