Ed asked, "Do you have a specialty within tech writing
that you prefer?"
I spent five years in the brokerage industry, hired
into customer service as a registered rep and later
making the move into the documentation department
where I wrote the customer service policy and
procedure manuals. I enjoyed the experience and would
love to return to the industry some day. I also
supported the company's retirement planning area, so
tax and estate planning law are of interest, too.
I've also had a life-long interest in construction
equipment, so my dream job is to work for Caterpillar,
writing product manuals and training material for
bulldozers, excavators, etc.
