Good point, Tom. The instances I'm referring to are those when I did some
actual WORK on the other's behalf, taking time to compose procedurals,
send documents, graphic examples, etc.
I'm NOT talking about exchanges like:
"Nice post."
"Thanks"
"No, really, thank YOU."
"Aw, it wasn't THAT good a post" ....ad infinitum.....
These, I agree, can turn into a cloying Möbius strip of endless thanks,
which do nothing other than eat up bandwidth.
