Although I'm sure you did not intend this meaning, your comment could be
interpreted to say: "I needed help. Although you were not too busy to
help me, I am a very busy person and my time is lore valuable than
yours."
If I take the time to help someone, it is a simple courtesy to let me
know if my solution was helpful and/or appreciated. This will also help
others.
