What's been the most valuable course you have taken?
Subject:What's been the most valuable course you have taken? From:"Lois Patterson" <lois -at- dowco -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 3 Jan 2002 12:27:58 -0800
For me, perhaps it was Typing in Grade 8. Or maybe History in Grade 12,
where I had my first experience writing a long, heavily researched paper.
Those types of responses would be interesting also, but I'm particularly
interested in courses that people have taken in the couple years or so. I
have seen various posters comment on courses they are thinking of taking,
and I have seen a number of suggestions as to courses to take.
However, what courses in particular have list members taken that have proven
immediately useful in actually getting a particular job or contract, or
increasing your salary/hourly rate? Also, is there any obvious preference
for knowledge gained from a course as opposed to knowledge gained from
self-study?
If there is a significant response, I will create a summary.
