Hi folks. My name is Shavon, and I'm a budding techwriter in Oakland, CA. I
worked for a company in Mountain View for a few years, but now my job is ending
due to budget cuts, so I'm taking additional techwriting classes from the
Brooklyn College Technical Writing Certificate Program online. Anybody ever
heard of it or tried it? The professor seems to be a pretty nice guy, and the
classes look useful. At any rate, I'll be selling vacuum cleaners to pay for
the classes, so wish me luck--my goal is to be in a techwriting job with a good
salary by January 2003. Oh, and I'm doing my best to abide by the rules on this
list, but I'm prone to mistakes, so if I make one, please be gentle when laying
the smack down. :)
Shavon, looking forward to joining the world of techies
