Laurence,

Sorry to hear about your temporary roadblock. This time might be good for you to
define you as a "brand." Do you want to be known as someone who's good in both
writing and with technology tools? or someone who's exceptional at writing only?
There is no wrong answer. For example, clients know me as an exceptional writer
who uses tech tools well but is not enamored by them. I've developed a
no-nonsense, almost cocky, attitude of myself as a writer only. And if clients
don't like it, I move on. They never do. They always stick with me. Why? Because
I've branded myself as such. Michael Jackson is never gonna wear contemporary
dress; Martha Stewart is never gonna make a 5-minute meal; and Rod Stewart is
never gonna cut his hair. Brand, brand, brand! You must make the rules for this
consulting game yourself and stick by your decision. Either way, you can't go
wrong!

Wishing you the best in your search!
