I asked: When referring to software versions and releases, would you say:

* MS Bloat 2.1 and higher
* MS Bloat 2.1 and later
* MS Bloat 2.1 and above

I quickly received numerous answers. While some respondents use "higher",
most recommended using "later". Other suggestions were "or newer", "and up",
and "and compatible versions". No one admitted to using "above".

One person suggested that it's better to say "or later" rather than "and
later", because "and" could be interpreted to mean that you must install the
referenced version AND all "later" versions. Good point.

Thanks to all who responded -- especially a certain Microsoftie who took my
jest about "MS Bloat" in good humor! For the record, I'm going with "or
later".
