I too am in the gray hair and wrinkles crowd. And I'd say that 2 to 3 years
ago, everyone was looking for hot young writers, fresh faces, the under 30
crowd. However, with the dotcom bust, I've found that people are looking for
experience, wisdom and maturity. If you want to dye your hair, go ahead. But
frankly, I make no excuses for my age, wrinkles or gray hairs. After 20 plus
years in software development, I've earned them.
