<<I am looking for information/sites on how to create "Help" in a Web
Based Application.>>
Creating online help for most web-based applications isn't significantly
different from creating other kinds of help. The real difference is in what
you deliver to the developers to hook in to the application.
I am currently using RoboHelp to create my online help files and generating
Web Help output (cross-platform, cross-browser support). The Web Help output
is simply the html files plus the cascading style sheets (for both Netscape
and IE), javascript files, and so forth. There are some limitations to Web
Help. For example, it can be context-sensitive only to the form level, and
it doesn't support information types.
I would suggest you go to the ehelp site (www.ehelp.com) and take a look at
what they offer.
