1. I can't get rid of the thin lines between rows and columns in a
small group of cells. I could do a lot of things to work around this
problem, but I'd like to know why.
All other cells in the table are unruled. I changed a few cells so that
the outside borders and inside cells are ruled. Now I can't get rid of
them. I've set every ruling option in both the Table Designer and
Custom Ruling and Shading to None. Why won't they just go away???!!!
2. Does anyone know how to custom rule groups of straddled cells? For
example (where columns A and B are straddled across all rows):
