It's been my experience that too-high heels and/or too-long nails always count against the wearer, no matter how tall she is. It's a subtle snob thing - if she's making it deliberately harder for herself to walk and type, how hard of a worker will she be?

So when I job hunt, it's always dress flats, or -- as a last resort -- 1" heels, but I was never thinking about being taller than my interviewer.
