I hear that. Try starting as a member of a writing team documenting military vehicles and then going on to be a lone writing doing software docs at a semiconductor company. Major culture shock, but I love it, especially being able to use articles again without having to worry about wasting ink and paper by putting them into electronic documents. <g>

unlearn many bad habits that I had been taught to use because the team
decided this was best
