I fixed it. As promised, here is the rundown on what I did to make it
work:
I copied all of the contents of the offending file that was causing the
printing of the PS file to choke, and pasted that to a new file. I
renamed the new file to the old file's name and brought it back into the
book file. I regenerated the book file and saved it. It printed to PS,
generated all the bookmarks etc and is just fine. Quirky, eh?
I even tried a File > Save As and that didn't work, nor did saving as
MIF and then saving back again to FM. I actually had to copy and paste
all of the content to a new file.
I took the advice of several Techwr-l, FrameUsers, and HATT list
members, and used the Distiller driver.
Well, if I run into that problem again, next time I think I'll remember
what I did to fix it. :-)
Thanks for the advice (everyone). These mailing lists are wonderful
things, aren't they? :-)
Tom.
