Naming the dialog box can provide a useful signpost in the procedure,
but I usually do it to provide context for the next step, rather than
to describe the results of the current step.

For example:
1. From the Database menu, choose Password.
2. In the Change Password dialog box, enter a new password of 5-10
characters.
[maybe a small screen capture of the Password dialog box with some
asterisks showing in the New Password box]

This way I can stick with actual steps (click this, choose that, enter
whatever) rather than mixing in declarative sentences.

My 2 cents...
Christine
