Why are you pasting anything into the table? Just create a table, with its
text, then rotate the text in every cell. (In one cell, click right, and
select Text Direction, and select the direction you want. One by one,
highlight each row and press F4 to do it again.) Looks easy to me :)

You could create a new table with text in landscape orientation: create a
table,
select some table cells (not the whole table, unfortunately), right-click,
and
select Text Direction. Choose the appropriate orientation. Paste text into
the
table--cell by cell, probably--or re-type.
