Dear List-
Could anyone advise me on current contract rates in
the Phila/NJ area? I would consider myself a
"mid-level" technical writer with 2-3 years experience
documenting software and strong RoboHelp and
Framemaker skills.
Computerjobs.com says this for Philadelphia:
Overall Average: $32.55/HR
Framemaker: $33.67/HR
Online Help $42.86/HR
I also need some pointers on negotiating a contract
salary with a recruiter. Thanks!
RD
