Subject:RE: Why don't technical writers do case studies? From:Karla Saari Kitalong <kitalong -at- pegasus -dot- cc -dot- ucf -dot- edu> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 11 Apr 2002 10:55:05 -0400 (EDT)
The inevitable question: I am in the process of writing a report like what
Marguerite calls a "post doc" analyses and others call postmortem. I was
about to ask for online examples, when I suddenly had a great idea!
Instead of asking for help, I'd put into practice what so many of the busy
and generous people on this list keep reminding us to do: I did a Web
search!
Using keywords < project postmortem document >, I located a number of
examples of varying quality and usefulness, along with the following
useful article from the world of game development, which I will use as
the guideline for my reporting process.
