I find this remark interesting because the only time
I have been "harassed offline" in association with
this news list was on the first occasion that
I posted a rebuttal to something Andrew Plato
posted. It was not Andrew who tried to silence
me, but (apparently) one of his fan club.
That said, I agree with the general sentiment that
dissent and debate is generally healthy in a forum
such as this. I grew weary of Andrew's general insults
towards people with whom he disagreed, and his
incessant hyperbole followed by back-pedalling, but
I see no reason why a group like techwr_l should not
tolerate lively and even heated discussions.
I've "quit" the group before and then come back;
I suspect he will too.
