Yes. Make sure to have him include all the fonts in the PostScript file.
There's an option to that effect in the print dialog. Also, he should
create a new desktop printer (with Apple's Desktop Printer Utility) using
the Acrobat Distiller PPD that you can send him.
In theory, it is also possible to open the Mac PageMaker files in
PageMaker on a PC and produce the PDF there. Based on our own
experiences, I would recommend against this workflow. We have found the
cross-platform compatibility of PageMaker less than perfect. In
particular, we had documents that looked fine on screen but exhibited
problems when converted to PDF. (These problems were over and above the
usual cross-platform font issues.)
