And in ways you may never have imagined. Recently I went back to a
newsgroup I hadn't participated in for several months. I was reading a post
and noticed my name on the screen. I thought, huh? On closer examination,
I realized that someone had taken a quote from one of my posts that was
almost a year old and was using it as his tagline. He was attributing it to
me, but he sure never asked me if it was okay. Life is weird.

(Note: I normally wouldn't have minded, but he copy and pasted the
quote....including a typo I made which now lives in perpetuity. <sigh>)
