Hi, is there a MS Word mailing list that I can address my problem to, or
are there any Word experts on this list?
I received a Word template from a co-worker, but I need to update the
header to our latest logo, and then I want to change the footer colors to
match the new header.
Here is what I have done so far:
1. took old template
2. open in MS Word and view header/footer
3. change header/footer to first page image
4. change header/footer on second page, realized that this changes first
page too
5. make manual page break, choose "first page different" in dailog
box--re-do header/footer on first page. This seems to work.
6. save template, do work. everything fine.
7. open new document, choose template.
8. Import text file into blank doc.
9. Header/footer on all pages becomes blank!!
10. Start over, try to cut and paste text in -- first page header/footer
disappers.
11. Reset in View Header/Footer dialog--first page header/footer reverts
to the old logo graphic that I had recently updated.
So, the 2nd page seems OK, but the 1st page keeps reverting to the old
logo that I had replaced with the new logo. :(
Any help much appreciated.
