Interestingly, one of the uses of this word comes from a community college
in my neighborhood...(Notes from a faculty meeting).
The CC is in favor of a two-year catalog...Lindsey asked what would happen
if we have a two-year catalog and a major change occurred... Joe tried to
say the word "addendum," but it just wouldn't come out. A new word,
ADDENDIX, was created to fit the situation....
Ask for the moon, but settle for its reflection in the pond in your
backyard.
