Thanks to those who dropped me an email.
Near as I can tell, I somehow saved the file as plain text. How I did this, I don't know.
When I opened the file, started reformatting and tried saving, Word warned me that I was about to save the file as a text file and format would be lost. I didn't get that warning the first time though. mmm I probably did accidently select an option at some point. A lesson to us all....beware....beware.... :-) Now it's time to flow with the Dao and reformat!
Yep, Geoff, that text-to-table function is a life saver, and pretty convenient. I've used it before for table-to-text conversions. Word _does_ have a lot of neat tricks that make it somewhat usable. hehehe
