I once had to take a personality test (based loosly on, I
believe, the MMPI) before being hired. They told me that they
were looking for specific personality types who would be
sympatico with the other employees. Since the company had a very
low turnover, and was one of the jobs I most enjoyed, it seems
to have worked. I was sorry to have to leave it when I moved out
of state.
There's no such thing as useless information, only information for which you haven't found a use yet.
