You get spam because you use a Hotmail account. Try this: Create a new
Hotmail account and don't use it at all. Don't tell anybody. Spam will
gush in within a few days. (And in my experience, this has been the case
even before the latest fast one that Microsoft pulled.)
FWIW, there is no 'bad' spam coming to the e-mail address I'm using for
this list. (What there is has some relation to my job and could have come
from anywhere; there is no porn or "$$$" spam.)
Further, I would like to echo Dick's sentiment: I feel much more
comfortable corresponding with non-anonymous list members.
