At the risk of opening the flood gates: what are the main problems that list users have with MS Word?

Autonumbering. The buggy-ness of it has cost hours of frustration. (buginess?)

.dot files and styles. I've been on projects where the lack of knowledge about templates has resulted in hours of fixing by the production department.

Actually, I think that the difficulty of Word is that it tries to meet the needs of the entire market. From your basic user to programmers. It's sneaky. A relative comfortable Word user can feel like they are in charge of the program, but will not know how to control Styles, Sections, AutoCorrect etc. when they try to edit a doc made by a more knowledgeable user. Then they have problems...
