If the answer, without hesitation, is "No, leakage is not a significant
issue for us, and we require that the crust survive the procedure intact" 
you'd know that you were working with a really tough audience. heh.

P.S.: speaking of patent lawyers, never trust anyone whose shoes cost 
more than your computer....
