Very wise. Unfortunately, it would be a big hassle to have the computer
disconnected from the network.

SMS is a great tool - and very flexible - it is posible to define groups of
machines that are handled in a unique way or to simply exclude the computer
from the SMS automatic inventory so that it wouldn't be a bother. Plus, with
all the time that the IT department will be saving they'll be able to devote
someone to just manage your design computer ;-)
