Word 5.1 for the Mac was an excellent program, but 6.0 with WordBasic and total cross-platform (PC-Mac) binary file compatibility (!) was well worth the loss of 5.1.

Improvements since 6.0 have been much less interesting, and VBA leaves me cold.
