When I left the <ha> perm world an entered the temp world, 
COBRA would cost about $450/mo, benefits from my contracting
agency was about $400/mo. Using a insurance broker, I found
coverage for $300/mo. Family of 5. Look around for coverage.
The coverage was much better with the cheaper one too.
