I have a Framemaker question that I'm hoping someone will be able to answer.
I want to release a guide on Monday and for once I actually have some time
to make it look nice. I was looking through the table of contents in my
Framemaker 6.0 manual and liked their clean cut, fairly minimalist style so
I am trying to replicate it. I know that I can get the dots between the
heading names and pages numbers by going into the reference pages and doing:
<$paratext> ................... <$pagenum>
It gives me the following effect:
Building a Risk Set for the First Time
Creating Your First Risk Structure ................... 6
Day Types ................... 7
Week Profiles ................... 9
Week Structures ................... 11
What Next? ................... 12
It looks all right, but looking at the Framemaker manual, I see that all of
the page numbers are perfectly alligned, no matter how long the heading
names are (quickly look at your FM manual TOC and you'll see what I mean).
I'm thinking this has something to do with the reference page tags and
perhaps a table, but I can't seem to find any info on how to do it.
Anyone done this before? Help is very much appreciated, thanks in advance
everyone!
cheers,
Jennifer Maitland
