Jane,
Obviously two years' experience enduring continuous sniping has broadened his perspective!

I've come to believe it's a character trait of folks whose profession it is to operate within inviolate boxes of code rules and regs--despite wives, children, outside contacts, or other moderating influences, the need to administer "correction" overrides any tolerance for variant perspectives or discussion. Linear is linear--and will never even approach nonlinear... IMO ; ))
