I have some questions about tech writing contracts.
Any help is appreciated.

1. What is the current market rate for a contract tech
writer with 2+ years of experience? What minimal skill
sets should the person have?

2. What contract rate (hourly) would you charge a
student-intern or entry-level tech writer? What
minimal skill sets should the person have?

I know that contract rates differ for each region, but
I'm trying to get a general sense of what's out there
from the low-experience to the experienced range.

Thanks,
Gene
