I'm experiencing something new with Framemaker (Version 6.0, Windows 2000).
I have a book of about 80 pages with various different chapters (saved as
different book files that are added to the book). In my TOC, I only want my
first and second level headings to appear, and this seems to be working
fine.
The last two files in my book are a glossary and index. Since they only have
the first level headings, I expected that only "Glossary" and "Index" would
show up in my TOC - and they have. The problem is that they don't show up
with their corresponding page numbers.......
What I've tried:
-Checking the paragraph tags to ensure they're the same Heading1 as the rest
of the Heading1's that show up in the TOC.....they are.
-Importing the formats from a file that is showing up in the TOC with page
numbers just to ensure the headings have all the same attributes (but
considering all the files in the book were made from the same template I
didn't expect this to have much effect....it didn't).
-Deleting the book files and adding them again.....no luck.
-Making sure there was no weird character tag formatting on the headings....
-Printing the doc out to make sure it wasn't just an on screen thing....it
prints out without the page numbers.
-Checking the page numbering inserted into these two files (and deleting
them and adding them again).
-Looking at the reference pages of all files - I don't see anything weird
going on....
Any ideas? Much appreciated in advance, thanks very much!
-Jennifer
