No.
1) I'd assume it was a marketing scam similar to all the offers "for
free stuff" ya get in email.
2) You aren't enticing someone to read a manual who wouldn't have,
because if they got to the message, which is the only way they'd know
about it anyway, they ARE reading the manual.
3) If I was the 31st person and I was told "sorry, no money for you".
I'd believe that you were at best, rinky-dink, and at worst,
dishonorable.
When I have to bribe someone to read my stuff, I quit writing.
