Along these same lines, I was going to ask if she's printing to an HP printer using the HP PS drivers. Try printing with the PCL drivers. I run into this sometimes on the same machine. I haven't spent the time to find out why the print jobs bomb (probably a graphic, that seems to most often cause the problems). Of course, when I print using PCL I get wierd letter spacing which often elicits comments from my reviwers. :-)

What brand and model of printer is giving you guff, and does it have the
latest drivers? What kind of drivers does it have, i.e. PCL 3, PCL 5,
Adobe PostScript, non-Adobe PostScript?

See what happens if you print the PDF "as image."
